The St. Martin Church was standing in the settlement of Nový Svět, today the village of Borová Lada, on the top of the hill beyond the cemetery. It was demolished in 1976 after almost 150 years of its existence and razed to the ground together with the adjacent cemetery. In 2008, the community of Borová Lada provided pious reconstruction of the cemetery and this year plans the same for the church.
The original foundations of the church were disclosed and reinforced. In place of the main altar a stone arch was erected with an in-built glass relievo of St. Martin by Vladěna Tesařová from Dobrá Voda u Hartmenic.
