On top of Pancíř mountain, at the altitude of 1214 metres, there is a tourist chalet with a lookout tower. The first simple lookout on Pancíř was built in 1880. In 1923 the authorities decided to build there the present chalet with the lookout tower. The building started to operate on 28th September 1923. The tower with the stone retaining wall is otherwise built of wood with the glazed observation platform at the top. The tower is 18 metres high and the platform is at the height of 15 metres. Pancíř is accessible along the red-marked tourist path from the saddle of Špičák mountain (2,5 km with super-elevation of 200 m) or by chairlift from the village of Špičák.
