Elevated 85 metres above Sušice and 551 metres above see level, there is a Baroque Chapel of the Guardian Angel popularly called Andělíček (Angel Child). Stráž hill, on top of which the chapel is situated, used to serve as a guard and observation point. The Otava river that can be beautifully seen from the observation point was throughout the centuries an object of interest of gold washers. The place is accessible on foot from the square along Palackého and Alšova streets or by car by the road from Sušice in direction of Žihobce.
