Old Jewish Cemetery

Old Jewish Cemetery

One of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Bohemia was founded in 1626, wedged into the fortification walls enclosing the old town and later extended. It was used for burials until 1873. The oldest preserved legible tombstone comes from 1708.

The keys to both Old and New Jewish Cemeteries are available at the Town Information Centre in the building of the Town Hall.
