The "Common Journey" monument was built at the cemetery of the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows in  cooperation with the association of the German natives Künische Gemeinde Hammern in 2009. The monument symbolizes history and traditions of the local landscape of Královský hvozd, formed by common work of the generations of locals over centuries, in connection with human fates of those who have been living here.

The stone segment of the monument created by the sculptor Jakub Vainar of Pilsen symbolizes "genius loci" of Královský hvozd. The glass relief designed and made by Richard Weinfurner, the glass maker of Arnbuck, expresses "The Sun of Justice", which is shining on the common journey through life for our times.
