Ostrý mountain with its altitude of 1283 meters is overhanging the village of Hamry. It is a part of the natural monument Hrálovský hvozd - the mountainous border ridge with Bavaria. The two-peak top of the mountain is divided with a deep saddle. The lower peak is at the Bavarian side, the higher is traversed by the state border. There is a pedestrian border crossing and at the Bavarian side we can visit a mountain cottage. The mountain is popularly called "The Breasts of our Lady". Nearby the peak there is a natural formation called "Stone Gate" (Kamenná brána) - two rocks form a gate on the ancient road from Hamry to Lam.
